EFI Stealth Ram Intake manifold for small block Chevy engines using 1996 and later Vortec L31 iron heads. The 7542 Stealth Ram intake features a two piece design with short individual runners and a large upper plenum. The “D” shaped runners promote high flow rates without turbulence from idle to 6500 RPM’s. The 7542 Vortec EFI Stealth Ram intake gives Vortec head engine a new look plus adds the benefits of Multi-Point EFI. These are designed to use a Holley twin 58mm throttle body or a stock GM throttle body from a 1985-88 TPI. If using a throttle body from a 1989 or newer, a spacer must be added for clearance. Look up the Stealth Ram dyno tests online, the manifold is consistently better than similar manifolds they tested. I purchased this Vortec pattern Stealth Ram Manifold for a project, but ended up going with a big block 454 instead. Nice manifold, works with Vortec heads only. Includes fuel rails. They are not offered any more, new. Stealth Ram has an upright plenum and is similar to the system GM used on the LT1 EFI engine, but the Stealth Ram has a 7-inch long-runner, while the LT1 is nearer 4 inches. Vortec pattern stealth ram manifold sells for a LOT more online, even used. If you need to haggle or think parking on this will lower the price, you are mistaken. Price is firm and very fair! Face to face sale only at this price. The ONLY trades I may be open to is a similar design, fuel injected long runner oval port big block manifold in trade (aftermarket only = don’t offer me a cruddy 7.4l Gen6 manifold) and possibly a Snap On, Matco, Mac, Cornwell tool cart.
