Maintain a safe and secure environment We are currently seeking professional, dependable Oregon DPSST Certified Unarmed Security Officers to join our team. We offer opportunities to work a variety of assignments, including bars, festivals, concerts, private events, and other special events. We're looking for individuals with flexible schedules who are committed to providing excellent customer service while maintaining a safe and secure environment. Starting Pay: $17.00/hour (opportunities for advancement based on performance and experience) Job Responsibilities - Patrol assigned properties and monitor for suspicious activity - Control access points and verify identification when required - Perform ID checks and enforce site policies - Provide exceptional customer service to clients, employees, and visitors - Respond promptly to incidents, alarms, and emergencies - Write detailed incident reports and maintain daily activity logs - Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, clients, and emergency services when necessary Qualifications - Previous security experience preferred, but not required - Strong communication and problem-solving skills - Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure - Bilingual skills are a plus Requirements - Current Oregon DPSST Unarmed Security Certification - Valid driver's license - Reliable transportation - Dependable and punctual - Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays - Ability to stand and walk for extended periods - Ability to pass a background check and drug screening If you're looking for flexible opportunities to work a variety of security assignments with a professional team, we'd like to hear from you.
