De-escalate tense situations over the telephone. Resolve conflict or dispute with callers. Conduct security-related interviews or investigations via telephone. Advance Operate security systems: monitor CCTV cameras, alarms, and access control systems. Understand security protocols and procedures for system operations. Response to security alerts and alarms. Generate and analyze security reports. Advanced Manage difficult or irate individuals. Intervene and resolve conflicts or disputes using effective communication techniques. Think critically and creatively to provide effective solutions. Provide emergency assistance, first aid, or other intervention. Coordinate with emergency services. Expert Emergency response and crisis management. Respond promptly and decisively to security incidents or emergencies. Conduct security-relate interviews or investigations. Apprehend offenders and turn them over to appropriate authorities. Implement emergency protocols and procedure to ensure the safety of individuals and property. Coordinate with emergency services and other stakeholders during crisis situations. Expert Demonstrate the ability to respond effectively to active threats or violent incidents with speed, precision, and decisiveness. Demonstrate proficiency in defensive tactics to protect oneself and others in high-risk situations. Work performed in high risk situations with potentially high risk individuals. Qualifications of a Surveillance Security Supervisor Be authorized to work in the U.S. Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process Strong report writing skills Sharp visual activity and exceptional concentration skills Strong proficiency with technology If you have Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience You have1 year of Armed security Armed DPSST preferred Supervisory DPSST preferred In the United States, GardaWorld Security remains the only guarding security company to be Certified by Great Place to Work.
