Employment Type: Full-time About the Position Allstructure Engineering is seeking a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) to join our structural engineering team. This position is ideal for an early- to mid-career engineer who enjoys solving challenging structural problems, working directly with clients, and managing projects from design through construction. As a Project Engineer, you will lead structural designs, prepare engineering calculations and construction documents, coordinate with clients and project teams, and mentor less experienced engineers and designers. You'll work closely with our principals on specialty structural engineering projects unique to our firm in the medical and high-tech sectors. Responsibilities • Design structural systems for commercial, medical, industrial, and high-tech projects. • Prepare structural calculations, drawings, and construction documents. • Coordinate with architects, manufacturers, contractors, and project owners. • Develop practical, code-compliant structural solutions that satisfy project requirements and manufacturing constraints. • Manage project schedules and coordinate the work of Structural Designers (EIs). • Perform site observations and assist during construction as needed. • Maintain strong client relationships through responsive communication and technical expertise. Minimum Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Architectural Engineering. • Professional Engineer (PE) license, or ability to obtain licensure within a reasonable period after hire is preferred. • Three or more years of structural engineering experience. • Working knowledge of applicable building codes and design standards, including IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, AISC, NDS, and TMS. • Experience with structural analysis software such as RISA, RAM, SAP, or similar programs. • Familiarity with AutoCAD; Revit experience is a plus. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail.
