As part of the global controls team, you will work with highly motived engineers, experts and innovors in the da center industry. You will be responsible for innoving, deploying and optimizing the automion systems within the da centers. Automion systems consist of building management system (BMS) and electrical power monitoring system (EPMS). Using Amazon leadership principles, you will develop new processes and standards while innoving in the controls space. You will also be able to grow your career on technical or management track. As a Controls Deployment Engineer you will: • Manage scope, and schedule of BMS and EPMS vendors during construction of AWS da centers. • Develop scope of work for site improvement projects. • Manage multiple stakeholder deliverables, requirements and navige complex situions. • Review controls sequence of operion and provide feedback to design. • Financially manage BMS and EPMS construction contracts and assist in procurement reled activities including RFQs, responding to RFIs, review of vendors proposal and issuance of purchase orders. • Perform comprehensive review of various BMS and EPMS submittals. • Participe in AWS global on-call schedule to provide immedie BMS and EPMS technical support to in-service da centers. • Ensure da center BMS and EPMS system are being deployed in accordance with scope of work (SOW) and specificions. • Review and provide feedback on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) drawings. • Attend project reled meetings, coordine with project leaders and regularly report stus to Controls Management. • Work under tight project timelines. • Interpret controls drawings and wiring diagrams. • Interpret controls bill of merial (BOM). • Understand and modify controls logic programming. • Understand and modify graphical user interface. • Support Controls reled Commissioning activities in field. • Frequently visit (locally) assigned under construction da centers to supervise vendor’s work to ensure compliance with the design, submittal and applicable local electrical codes (NEC etc.). Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compension will be determined based on factors including experience, qualificions, and locion.
