Summary: This role involves supporting production and installation of interpretive exhibits, requiring a can-do attitude, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. Highlights: 1. Sea Reach Ltd. is an award-winning, full service exhibit design and fabrication firm located in Sheridan, OR. Sea Reach collaborates with private and governmental agencies in the design, production, fabrication and installation of interpretive exhibits and wayfinding signage. We work all over the United States, with some international projects. Our ideal candidate is polite and has a can-do attitude, can manage themselves, always looking to lend a hand, works well with others and has a sense of humor. Someone who listens well and thoughtfully follows instructions and contributes ideas about how to improve the work and products. Reliable - to work on time each day. Duties - Loading/unloading delivery trucks - Packing/prepping products for shipping - Verifying incoming shipments and process paperwork - Basic computer skills - Assist with production support such as prepping parts for paint - Use hand tools, and power tools for projects as assigned - Operate forklifts safely for material handling and assembly tasks - Assist with keeping shop clean and organized - Travel for installations (nationwide) Requirements - Ability to lift 50 - 70 lbs - Knowledge of power and hand tools - Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and ask questions to ensure understanding of what is expected - Problem solving - Safety compliance - Willingness to learn new tasks and skills - Travel as needed for installations nationwide for up to 2 weeks at a time (most commonly less) Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience.
