Provide day-to-day support for Collateral and SCI activities Apply Now MANTECH seeks a motived, career and customer-oriented SCI Security Specialist II to join our team in El Segundo, CA. The SCI Security Specialist’s primary function is to serve as a senior security specialist under supervision of the local Special Security Office (SSO). In accordance with Department of Defense (DoD), Director of Nional Intelligence (DNI) and Air Force directives, regulions and instructions, implements local policies and procedures to ensure the effective and efficient management for military, civilian and contractor personnel of SCI and colleral program functions including physical, personnel, informion and industrial security. The position will provide “day-to-day” support for Colleral and Sensitive Compartmented Informion (SCI) activities. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Formules plans, policies, procedures and other documention required to deal with the operion of SCI protection functions and activities IAW DoD 5105.21 Volumes 1-3, ICD 704/5, AFMAN 14-304, AFI 16-1404/06 and AFI 31-501.  Respond to SCI incidents with SSO and ISSM in order to make a declarion. Coordine with HHQ to notify and obtain security incident tracking number. Ensure Inquiry Official (IO) is nomined to the Senior Intelligence Office (SIO) for appointment and provide initial IO brief.  Ensure incident report is completed, coordined and submitted to HQ for closure.  Provide training and guidance on handling, safeguarding, marking classified merial.  Verify and provide training for requests for SCI courier authorizions, issues those certificions.  Acts as an SCI courier.  Coordine industrial security procedures as necessary. Review performance work stement (PWS) for SCI contracts and ensure a properly executed DD Form 254.  Review, track, and monitor security clearance processing activities with approprie government personnel to achieve approprie clearance actions.  Participe in Air Force SAP security compliance inspections of government organizions and industry.  Conduct Defense Central Index of Investigions (DCII) and SAPNP reviews of candides being submitted for SAP access.  Perform da entry and record checks in the Joint Access Dabase (JADE) and maintains all customer sponsored personnel access informion current.  Minimum Qualificions: Bachelor’s degree in a reled field or 4 additional years of equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of degree.   7+ years of reled experience.  Must meet position and certificion requirements outlined in DoD Directive 8570.01-M for Informion Assurance Technician Level 2 and Informion Assurance Manager Level 1 within 6 months of the de of hire.  Must complete DISS/JPAS training within six months of starting on contract   Must be familiar with security policy/manuals and the approprie ICDs/ JAFANs/DOD Manuals and other guiding policy documents.  Willingness to travel within the organizional Area of Responsibility (AOR) (note - could be extensive, and will include both air and ground transportion).  Clearance Requirements: Current Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility.   Eligibility for access to Special Access Program Informion.   Willingness to submit to a polygraph.   Physical Requirements: Must be able to remain in a stionary position 50%. Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. Constantly operes a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculor, machine and computer printer. Frequently communices with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentions. Must be able to exchange accure informion in these situions. Apply Now
