Position Overview: Greenlife seeks an experienced Level 2 Registered Nurse for government facilities. This role involves diagnosing and repairing issues related to HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, drywall, exterior structures, and appliances. The Senior Maintenance Technician ensures the safety and cleanliness of the property, maintains amenities, and responds to maintenance requests promptly and professionally. This position also involves supervising outside contractors, maintaining inventory, and ensuring compliance with all relevant policies and regulations. The Senior Maintenance Technician at Paradise Oaks is eligible for a 40% apartment allowance if living on-site. Reports to: Maintenance Supervisor Key Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to) Maintenance and Repairs Perform daily maintenance tasks as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager. Diagnose and repair issues in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, drywall, exterior structures, and appliances. Respond to maintenance requests promptly and professionally. Safety and Compliance Assist with monthly safety meetings and facilitate in the absence of the Maintenance Supervisor. Report and document potential liabilities to the Community Manager and Maintenance Supervisor. Ensure compliance with Fairfield policies and procedures, OSHA regulations, and hazardous chemicals program. Assist in property compliance with all Safety Risk Management Manual requirements and objectives. Inventory and Supplies Management Maintain an up-to-date inventory of all equipment, tools, and supplies. Assist in locating and purchasing materials and supplies as required. Resident and Community Engagement Participate in resident functions as required by the Community Manager. Assist office staff with posting notices on resident doors as needed. Qualifications Education & Certifications High school diploma or equivalent required HVAC-EPA (Type II) or EPA Universal license is required. Certified Pool Operator (CPO) license strongly preferred. Associates hired without a CPO license will be required to obtain within 90 days of hire. Valid drivers license is required. Experience 2+ years of experience in property maintenance or a related field. Experience in supervising contractors preferred but not required.
