Job Type: Part-Time THURS-SATURDAY up to 36 hours About Us: Retail store committed to providing our customers with high-quality products in a safe and secure environment. We are seeking a dedicated and professional Security Guard to join our team and ensure the safety of our staff, customers, and property. Job Summary: The Security Guard will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees by patrolling and monitoring the premises, as well as controlling access to the store. This role requires vigilance, professionalism, and excellent communication skills. Key Responsibilities: - Monitor and control access to the store. -Greet customers -Clean and maintain work area. - Conduct regular patrols of the interior and exterior of the facility. - Ensure compliance with all company policies and local regulations. - Respond promptly to incidents and emergencies, providing assistance as needed. - Provide excellent customer service while ensuring a secure environment. - Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services when necessary. - Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records. - Assist with crowd control during peak hours or special events. Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent. - Proven experience as a security guard, preferably in a retail setting. 1+ year experience - Valid security guard license in New York State. - Strong observational and surveillance skills. - Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience working in high-security retail environment. Working Conditions: - Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. - Indoor and outdoor work in various weather conditions.
