The corporate meal platform pairs its business services with a social impact model, donating a meal to alleviate food insecurity for every transaction made. Prior to working this first shift, you will complete a phone interview with a Bluecrew Recruiter. On the phone call, you will be asked about your experience and situational questions listed below: A restaurant delivers 140 lunches instead of the expected 150. What would you do? You are working alone and receive multiple deliveries simultaneously. How would you prioritize your work? Once you pass the phone screen, you will be invited to a 2 week training process which will have shifts at various sites around the city each day. You will shadow a Sharebite team member to learn the company values and processes. At the end of the two week training period, you will have the opportunity to be eligible to work independent shifts, higher-volume sites, recurring schedules. After Each Shift, you will be evaluated on: Punctuality Communication Professionalism SOP compliance Client interaction Workers who consistently score well can be invited to future shifts and recurring opportunities. Basic Onsite Responsibilities include: Receive and organize restaurant deliveries. Verify order counts and report any discrepancies. Set up food stations in a clean and organized manner. Alphabetize and stage individual meal orders for pickup. Update delivery statuses using Sharebite technology. Take proof of delivery photos. Assist employees with locating their orders. Communicate with restaurant partners, drivers, and the Operations team when issues arise. Maintain a clean, professional, and welcoming pickup area. Follow all client-specific operating procedures or SOPs. Complete shift documentation and reporting before leaving the site. ***General Requirements*** Event Staff/Food Service When working in Event Staff or Food Service Position through Bluecrew, you may be expected to do any and all of the following: Working independently or in a team to cook, prepare, serve, or transport food items Engaging with customers while operating a point of sale machine or cash register in a professional and courteous manner Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, cooking equipment, or other items at the start or end of your shift Work on your feet, either stationary or constantly moving for the full shift Reaching, crouching, bending over, and other physically strenuous activities at times, as required by the immediate supervisor Comfortable working in a busy and at times hectic environment There may be a specific dress code, but if it is not listed, please make sure to wear close-toed shoes and pants. Note for that for any event staff position that requires handling food, you will need to follow GMP guidelines which include keeping your hair up, neatly trimmed fingernails, and you may be required to cover any facial hair.
