This is a hands-on, physical role in an environment with strong odors and exposure to hot/cold conditions. Key Responsibilities: -- Sort and separate recyclable materials (e.g., plastic and glass bottles) from debris -- Identify materials and learn proper sorting classifications -- Perform physical work including lifting, bending, sweeping, shoveling, and moving materials (under 40 lbs.) -- Stand for extended periods (up to 4 hours at a time, depending on rotation and breaks) -- Follow facility safety requirements and wear required PPE at all times (hard hat, gloves, sturdy work boots) Required Qualifications -- Must have experience with garbage sanitation and/or recycling and a high tolerance for strong odors -- Able to meet the physical requirements listed above -- Able to work in conditions exposed to odors and hot/cold weather -- Team-player attitude Preferred Qualifications -- 1+ year experience in Sanitation, Construction/Demolition, or General Labor
