Principal Accountabilities:
Troubleshoot, opere, and monitor packaging equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency
Accurely verify, document, and record production quantities produced and/or consumed
Communice effectively with team members and management during shift handovers and throughout daily operions
Ensure all packaged products meet food safety requirements and customer quality specificions
Perform routine, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance on packaging equipment
Understand, follow, and comply with all safety rules, policies, procedures, and regulory requirements
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment all times
Safely climb on trucks and railcars as required to support operional activities
Opere track mobile equipment to move railcars in accordance with safety and opering procedures
Perform other duties as assigned to support operional and business needs
Required Qualificions:
Must be eligible to work in the US without visa sponsorship
Must be 18 years or older.
Ability to understand and communice in English (verbal/written)
Basic use of a computer
Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions, which may include he, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
Ability to work in eleved areas (4 feet and above)
Ability to perform physical job duties, which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without a reasonable accommodion
Ability to work overtime, including weekends, holidays, or different shifts, with advance notice
Preferred Qualificions:
Minimum of 3–5 years of forklift operion experience required
Experience opering machinery and/or industrial equipment
Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing or military experience
Experience in performing routine, preventive, and troubleshooting maintenance on packaging equipment
Prior experience working around railcars and performing operional tasks such as equipment access and railcar movement
Experience using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), such as SAP
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
High school diploma or GED, or a minimum of two years of equivalent relevant work experience
