Our company primarily works with specialty cold storage, incubators, centrifuges, Biological Safety Cabinets, and other safety devices. The certification technician will work closely with a specific client to ensure their equipment is operating accurately. Certification Technician Responsibilities: • Perform full-time certification, calibration, and repair services for a high-profile client in Tarrytown, NY. The equipment being serviced includes, but is not limited to: Biological Safety Cabinets • Fume Hoods • Animal Transfer Stations • Incubators • Centrifuges • Oxygen, Carbon Dioxide, Carbon Monoxide, and Methane Sensors Decontamination of said equipment using Vaporized Hydrogen Peroxide. Assist in the relocation and installation of said equipment. Fill out daily test reports and follow up work with the client. Hours and Benefits • The position pays 28 - $35 / hour, depending on experience, and is negotiable. Monday through Friday 8 hours /40 hours per week 7-3 / 8-4 or 9-5 Paid time off for 2 weeks, and 1 week of sick pay, along with paid holidays. Employer Matched Retirement plan is available. Employee health insurance is available. Certification Technician Qualifications / Skills: Basic Electrical understanding Basic hand and power tools use and basic understanding of wiring diagrams. Ability to use a computer and navigate programs is a must Excellent Customer Service skills Prior certification experience is preferred, but not required. Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements: A high school diploma is required.
