The Opportunity: Millwood Market is a large-format, high-traffic destination on the Taconic Parkway. We are looking for a hands-on Assistant Manager who wants to grow with us. This is not a "desk job." We need a leader who sets the pace, works alongside the crew, and ensures our high standards for food, cleanliness, and service are met every single shift. What You’ll Do: -Lead from the Front: You don’t just delegate; you do. Whether it’s running a register, stocking the cooler, or cleaning the floor, you show the team how it’s done. -Operational Excellence: Manage shift transitions, handle cash reconciliation, and oversee vendor deliveries. -Food Service Oversight: Ensure our grab-and-go and coffee stations are fully stocked, fresh, and meet sanitation codes. -Team Accountability: Ensure staff arrives on time, wears the proper uniform, and maintains high energy. You are the standard-bearer for the store. -Report to, and work alongside the General Manager on a daily basis. The Requirements: -Unwavering Reliability: You are punctual and dependable. The store cannot open without you. -Physical Stamina: This is a large store. You must be able to lift 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and hustle during rushes. -Experience: Previous experience in convenience retail, grocery, or fast-paced food service is required. -Availability: Must have reliable transportation to Millwood, NY, and open availability (mornings/nights/weekends).
