Overview: We are looking to fulfill our need for an Assistant Shipping Supervisor at our Teterboro, NJ facility. Full-time position: Hours 7 am - 3:30 pm (Monday - Friday) Overtime as needed and approved. Applicants from NJ with their own reliable transportation preferred. Requirements Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned): Must be hands-on. This is not an office position. Responsible for safely loading windows and/or glass products onto trucks. Able to use a power jack. Assist with all shipping, logistics and floor space management. Acquire a detailed understanding of the shipping requirements for NAS. Assist in quarterly physical inventory counts of finished goods. Maintain a clean, safe environment. Able to work in extreme temperatures. Other activities may be assigned by the Shipping Supervisor and/or management. Minimum Requirements: Must have a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent 3+ years of experience in a shipping/loading position The ability to lift 75+ lbs. repeatedly Fluent in English, both written and verbal Bilingual (English/Spanish) - A Must Able to operate a forklift a plus (willing to train) Computer literate and working knowledge of MS Office Apply health and safety practices Prior window industry experience a plus Benefits Full-time Position Hourly Rate Range: $20.00 - $25.00/hour Medical, Dental and Vision Benefits Offered PTO (Paid Time Off) 401(k) Employee Training
