We are a commercial contractor serving the NY and NJ area for four decades. We are currently seeking a sharp, organized, and proactive Construction Administrator to join our front office and keep our projects running smoothly. Key Responsibilities are meeting project deadlines by managing certificates of insurance (COI), lien waivers, and permit filings, Managing subcontractors. Maintain active communication with vendors and subcontractors regarding schedules, contracts and purchases. Perform electronic filing, handling e-mails and calls, and supporting project field managers. Active in communication with clients, managing submittal, transmittal, change order and associated logs. Experience: At least 4 years in a commercial construction office environment (preferred). Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks (or similar construction accounting software). Familiarity with AIA billing and NY/NJ building codes/permitting is a huge plus. Personality: You are "unshakeable." You can handle a busy phone line and a fast-paced environment with a professional attitude.
