Responsibilities: · Ownership of the management of the fixed asset process: From purchase to pay to placing the asset in service, including but not limited to the following: o Assist in the role out of a fixed asset module in the Sage Intacct Accounting System o Recording CIP at the site level, placing the CIP in service o Ensuring the fixed asset subledger agrees to the general ledger; preparation of a monthly FARF · Managing the Lease Accounting needs of the organization: This includes preparing monthly journal entries under the guidance of ASC842, data gathering, abstraction, lease modifications and assisting in the implementation of Lease Accounting Software. · Assist with Treasury Management: Managing cash balances, recording intercompany cash activity, bank reconciliations and intercompany reconciliations. · Balance Sheet Analytics: Assist the Controller in preparation of a monthly BS review package with focus on the areas of fixed asset accounting, leases, and cash. · Closing Processes: Leads the fixed asset and lease closing process; responsible for coding all entries including GL code and location. · Ad Hoc requests: Assist with requests for information or analytics as needed for both the annual audit and day-to-day operations.
