Position Type: Part Time Pay Re: $22.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSun11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Wh You'll Do: Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out security-reled procedures, site-specific policies, and when approprie, emergency response activities a government locion. Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and/or critical situions in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observions and reporting informion through established channels. Conduct regular and random armed prols throughout buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior. Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and critical infrastructure points, verifying access permissions and following post orders for escorted entry, deliveries, and/or contractor activity. Support public-facing operions by giving directions, answering routine questions, and communicing professionally with staff, visitors, law enforcement, and/or emergency responders as needed. Minimum Requirements: Possess least 1 year of armed security-reled, law enforcement, and/or military experience An armed guard card and/or license is required. Be least 21 years of age. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. Be least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigion in accordance with all federal, ste, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applicions with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participe in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to ste and/or local laws and regulions and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
