Summary: Seeking a Mid-Level Electronic Engineer to design and develop microprocessor-based systems, automated test equipment, and production support systems from concept to testing. Highlights: 1. Support production systems and engineering improvements Universal Staffing is seeking a Mid-Level Electronic Engineer for a full-time opportunity with a respected client. The ideal candidate will have strong electrical engineering fundamentals and hands-on experience designing microprocessor-based systems. Position Overview The selected candidate will design and develop: • Microprocessor-based flow meters • Automated test equipment • Production support systems This role requires a practical, hands-on engineer who can take designs from concept through prototype and testing efficiently. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities • Design, build, and test prototypes expediently and efficiently • Document designs with detailed engineering drawings and written descriptions • Support production systems and ongoing engineering improvements ________________________________________ Required Qualifications • BSEE degree (Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering) • Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience • Proficiency in C programming language • Experience with PCB layout and mixed-signal design • Strong electrical engineering fundamentals and understanding of best practices • Familiarity with schematic capture and PCB layout tools • Hands-on experience with test equipment, including: o Oscilloscopes o Multimeters o Bench power supplies o Function generators o Spectrum analyzers ________________________________________ Preferred Skills • Surface mount soldering of small components • Programming in C and Python • Familiarity with EMI and EMC compliance testing ________________________________________ If you meet the qualifications and are interested in this opportunity, please contact: Carolyn@universalstaffing.com or call our office at 831-333-2150.
