Requires strong knowledge of irrigation components and mechanical aptitude Job description: Irrigation Tech for commercial and residential irrigation systems Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Irrigation Technician to join our team. As an Irrigation Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems for residential and commercial properties. This is a hands-on role that requires knowledge of irrigation systems, landscaping, and mechanical skills. Duties: - Install and set up new irrigation systems based on design plans - Perform regular maintenance on existing irrigation systems, including checking for leaks, adjusting sprinkler heads, and replacing damaged components - Troubleshoot and repair irrigation system issues, such as broken pipes, faulty valves, wiring issues or malfunctioning timers - ensure proper irrigation coverage for plants and lawns - Operate hand tools, power tools, and other equipment necessary for irrigation system installation and maintenance *MUST HAVE AT LEAST 2 YEARS OF IRRIGATION TECH*NICIAN EXPERIENCE IN COMMERCIAL IRRIGATION SYSTEMS Qualifications: - Previous experience working as an Irrigation Technician.. - Strong knowledge of irrigation system components, including pipes, valves, sprinkler heads, wiring and timers is a MUST - Mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot and repair system issues - Excellent problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues efficiently - Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks such as digging trenches or lifting heavy equipment - Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. We are not looking for plumbing experience.
