Summary: Assess property damage, conduct visual inspections, document findings, interview owners, and generate detailed digital reports with repair recommendations. Highlights: 1. Comprehensive training provided for all job duties Assessment of property damage from a variety of causes. Job duties include travel to and from each worksite, conducting visual inspection with photographic documentation and interview of owner for pertinent facts, generate written digital report with supporting photos detailing cause and extent of damage with repair recommendations. Training is provided. Pay is issued bi-weekly per job completion upon acceptance of written report; pay consists of $300 for time spent traveling and the site inspection, $300 for generation of written report, and $100 travel stipend, for a total of $700 per job completion. Pay raise upon registration as a Professional Engineer. Job Requirements: * B.S., Engineering in Civil, Mechanical, Construction or similar fields. * Own a reliable personal vehicle for travel to job sites. * Own a laptop or PC, with Microsoft Word or compatible software. * Live in Missouri. * Ability to inspect damage to buildings, including being physically capable of walking on roofs. * Outstanding analytical ability to diagnose cause of damage and rule out non-causal factors. * Good communication ability to conduct witness interviews. * Excellent writing skills, being capable of describing engineering principles in layman's terms. * Of benefit but not required; having construction experience, passed the FE exam and registration as an EIT.
