The System Administrator/Operator will serve as the primary technical support professional at a secure government healthcare facility in St. Louis, Missouri. Support device imaging, configuration, and deployment for desktops, laptops, and other approved devices. Documentation & Reporting Maintain accurate records of system configurations, network changes, and incident resolutions. Develop and update technical procedures, guides, and operational documentation. Requirements Required Qualifications Education & Experience Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; equivalent combination of education and work experience will be considered. 3–5 years of progressive experience in systems and network administration, preferably within a regulated or secure environment. Technical Skills Proficiency in Windows Server administration, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 environments. Familiarity with cybersecurity tools such as vulnerability scanners, endpoint protection platforms, and configuration management tools. Strong understanding of networking principles, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLAN management. Certifications Must hold a relevant industry certification at an intermediate level or higher (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Cisco CCNA, Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate). Additional vendor-specific certifications in networking, operating systems, or cybersecurity are preferred. Security & Clearance Requirements Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance at the Secret level.
