Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive, hands-on Part-Time Maintenance & Site Supervisor to oversee daily operations of our commercial properties. This role is ideal for someone who is both detail-oriented and mechanically inclined, with the ability to perform minor maintenance tasks while ensuring the property is well-maintained, functional, and presentable. The ideal candidate will take ownership of the site, address issues promptly, and support tenant needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Property Maintenance & Repairs
Perform minor maintenance and repairs, including basic plumbing, electrical work, painting, and general handyman tasks
Troubleshoot and address day-to-day property issues in a timely manner
Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs before they escalate
Site Oversight & Curb Appeal
Maintain overall cleanliness, safety, and curb appeal of the property
Ensure common areas, parking areas, and exterior spaces are well-kept
Coordinate with vendors for larger repairs or specialized services as needed
Tenant Support & Interaction
Assist tenants with basic maintenance-related concerns
Show available spaces to prospective tenants when needed
Maintain a professional and responsive presence on-site
Vendor Coordination
Coordinate and oversee third-party vendors for repairs and services
Ensure work is completed properly, on time, and within scope
Security & Access Control
Perform lock changes and manage access as needed
Monitor the property for any security concerns and report issues
Communication & Reporting
Maintain clear communication with property management regarding site conditions
Document completed work, issues, and any tenant-related concerns
Qualifications:
Experience in maintenance, facilities, or property management preferred
Strong handyman skills (basic plumbing, electrical, painting, etc.)
Ability to work independently and take initiative
Reliable, detail-oriented, and solutions-driven
Comfortable using basic tools and performing physical tasks
Flexible availability, including occasional weekends if needed
