Summary: This position involves cleaning, packing, installing, and picking up houseware items for a furniture leasing company, maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Highlights: 1. We deliver furniture and housewares to make an apartment or home move in ready. This position is for housewares only Clean and pack housewares efficiently and effectively; including dishes, linens, vacuums, and houseware appliances. Responsibilities Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently. Clean and fold laundry. Clean houseware items including, but not limited to, dishes, toasters, coffee makers, microwaves, bath linens, and bedroom linens. Install and pickup housewares at client location. Pack all items per packing sheet into bins or bags with 100% accuracy. Put all items away in their designated location. Properly pull items for delivery to other locations or local deliveries based on a load or lease document. Load & unload trucks with items as needed. Perform all duties safely. Help to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment within the warehouse. Qualifications: Ability to lift 30 pounds and move product within warehouse and up and down stairs. CLEAN DRIVING RECORD Ability to drive a work van Ability to work independently and multi-task. Ability to work with phone apps to complete checklists and photos. Being able to communicate effectively with coworkers, bilingual Spanish is a plus. Understanding of basic use of cleaning equipment including, but not limited to, clothes washers/dryers and dish washers. Ability to work overtime when required. Note: this is a Monday – Friday position, weekends are optional during our busy time. Hours 9:30am-4:30 pm M-F We are coming into our busy season from May-September and need reliability and consistency during these times. During the winter we are more flexible with hours.
