On the floor supervisor th is willing to work side by side with the production team to finish the production goal. Wh You Will Do: Conveys Management's expections and direction. Responsible for training, directing, and motiving employees and making recommendions to Management on their behalf. In conjunction with the Plant Manager, supervises and coordines plant floor activities of workers in the manufacturing processes of cutting, tempering, lamining, fabricing, polishing, insuled glass or loading glass products. Assists in overseeing and or conducting training of new and existing employees to include work methods and procedures, safety training and following employee handbook guidelines. Inspects products to verify conformance to Company specificions and Directs setup and adjustments of machines Assist Plant Manager with providing employees with timely and accure feedback of performance reviews, disciplinary problems, merial shortages, and equipment problems etc. when required or approprie. Participion in interviewing, hiring, and terminions of Employees as needed Retention, training, and continued development of hourly associes Interface with team members on a daily basis and act as the first line of command in resolving problems and maintaining efficient, orderly workflow. Ensuring on-time delivery, management of the flow of raw merials and control of inventory Adherence to product and customer specificions Compliance with all required Employment Laws and OSHA regulions and policies Accure and timely production reporting Maintaining approprie working relionships with internal and external customers and regulory agency employees Creing and maintaining a plant floor environment th promotes safety and the safe operion of the entire process Continued assessment of cost reduction opportunities through the utilizion of resources to remove process costs, improve efficiencies, and develop creive staffing stregies Experience in 5S and Lean manufacturing knowledge Maintain and improve high quality levels by ensuring th all work processes are performed correctly and accurely Skills You Bring: High School Diploma and two (2) year degree preferred At least five (5) years' experience in a Manufacturing environment. Prior architectural glass fabricion experience is a plus Two (2) years of supervisory experience preferred or training, or equivalent combinion of educion and experience.
