Supports daily maintenance and resident satisfaction The Facilities Support Technician is a hands-on, multi-skilled role supporting apartment maintenance, housekeeping, and grounds operations. This position helps keep the property clean, safe, and move-in ready while supporting daily maintenance operations and resident satisfaction. Responsibilities · Perform general apartment maintenance and facilities support, including preventive maintenance, unit turnovers, light plumbing, appliance repair, painting/drywall, minor HVAC troubleshooting, and basic electrical tasks. · Complete daily pool maintenance, monitoring, and upkeep. · Assist with housekeeping duties such as cleaning common areas, preparing vacant units, restocking supplies, and maintaining cleanliness standards. · Support groundskeeping tasks including trash removal, litter cleanup, dumpster area maintenance, basic landscaping, and snow and ice removal. · Respond to maintenance requests and after-hours emergencies as part of an on-call rotation. · Follow OSHA safety guidelines and proper use of tools, equipment, and cleaning chemicals. Qualifications · High school diploma or GED preferred. · Previous experience in apartment maintenance, facilities maintenance, building maintenance, janitorial, or housekeeping preferred. · Knowledge of plumbing, appliances, HVAC, and general repairs a plus. · Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and cleaning equipment. · Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform bending, lifting, climbing stairs, and repetitive tasks. · Reliable transportation, own basic tools, and flexible availability. Schedule & Work Environment · Full-time, Monday–Friday with rotating on-call schedule. · Indoor and outdoor work in all weather conditions.
