Work with modern cloud technology to build helpful solutions Apply Now MANTECH seeks a motived, career and customer-oriented Software Engineer to join our team in Fort Meade, MD.   As a Software Engineer, you’ll use your coding skills to help build and fix software. You will join a collaborive team focused on improving our internal systems using modern cloud technology. Together, you’ll build helpful solutions th keep our agency’s da safe and organized.   Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements while reviewing and testing components for adherence to design. Design and code new software or modify existing software to add feures and resolve problem reports through debugging and defect correction. Support the integrion of existing software into new or modified systems or opering environments using standard development methodologies. Provide specific input to system design, including hardware/software trade-offs and the use of COTS/GOTS in place of new development. Develop da queries for existing dabases and recommend improvements for documention and process standards. Maintain system baselines and configurion management items while working with stakeholders to ensure systems meet all requirements. Document responses to required controls and maintain a library of documention, including network diagrams for cyber defense capabilities.   Minimum Qualificions: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a reled field OR 4+ years of software engineering experience working on similar projects and processes in lieu of a degree. Proficiency in Python or Java for applicion development and building structured software.   Preferred Qualificions: Experience with Angular or React development. Foundional understanding of Docker and a general familiarity with Kubernetes environments.   Clearance Requirements: Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.   Physical Requirements: Must be able to remain in a stionary position 50%. Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. Frequently communices with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentions.
