Leidos has an exciting opening for you as our next TS/SCI Senior Systems Engineer supporting DIA’s Nional Digital Exploition and OSINT Center (NDOC) (formerly NMEC) under our 10-year DOMEX Technology Plform (DTP) contract. As the Senior System Engineer, you will perform and manage the full spectrum of systems engineering tasks to include requirements analysis, feure, system and interface design, system integrion, system testing, as well as working with the SE team in support of Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and all associed documention. You will also take on the role as a scrum master to lead a software development team while managing risks, escaling impediments, and helping to drive continuous process improvement. While most work is conducted on-site our client locion in Bethesda, MD, we offer a flexible schedule and, occasionally, some tasks may be performed remotely. Percentage of remote work will vary based on client requirements/deliverables. As a senior member of the team, you bring deep expertise in Systems Engineering (SE) and will work closely with Systems Engineers, Software Engineers, Architects as well as Government counterparts on the following key tasks: Technical support, coordinion, and execution of systems engineering activities such as feure/requirements analysis, design, implemention planning, integrion and test, sustainment, documention, deployment, and system assessment Perform systems engineering tasks within time-boxed (e.g., Agile) sprints and releases. Support sprint and release planning activities as well as the creion of and/or input to work tickets (e.g., Gitlab issues) as well as program/system documention using collaborion software (e.g., Gitlab wiki) Support and employ MBSE approach for systems planning, design, execution, and sustainment in coordinion with the Lead SE and SE team members Help to define processes for technical plforms, system specificions, input/output and working parameters for hardware and/or software compibility Assist in establishing SE processes and tools to accomplish analysis, problem diagnosis and solution design, integrion and test preparion, risk assessment and mitigion planning, and reled activities Manage a scrum team performing development activities across the microservices and support system architectures You are rigorous while having the ability to work well with people from different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience. You bring leaderships skills and enthusiasm and meet the following qualificions: BS in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or reled field or equivalent experience with 12+ years in software development, system engineering or reled field. Additional years of experience in lieu of degree are acceptable. Must have an active Top Secret//SCI security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Polygraph. Experience with creing design packages and workflows Experience in writing technical solutions and whitepapers Experience implementing key Agile processes and techniques Experience with faciliting scrum for the team (Planning, Retrospective, Grooming & Review/Demo) Experience with Gitlab (workflow), JIRA, Confluence, or similar tools Excellent verbal and written communicion skills Familiarity with a MBSE approach and tools or experience with framework/approach like MBSE You will wow us even more if you have some of these skills: Software development/coding experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, and React Experience with dabase systems, search engines, model view controller (MVC); web applicions Experience in a Red H, Centos or Oracle Linux Experience with big da applicions Scaled Agile Framework certificion (SAFe Agilist or other) Familiarity with continuous integrion/continuous development tools (Jenkins, Bamboo, or equivalent) #NMECDTP-All If you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling.
