Focuses on Da Center & Compute Services implementation and compliance Apply Now MANTECH seeks a motived, career-driven, and customer-focused Senior Linux and VMWare System Administror to join our team in Laurel, MD. This position supports the high-visibility Enterprise Infrastructure Services (EIS) organizion, responsible for the delivery and security of MPO’s Enterprise Informion Technology (EIT), the foundion for enterprise-wide services. As a Senior System Administror, you will work alongside customers, Integred Product Teams (IPTs), and vendors to support the implemention and compliance of advanced EIT capabilities through Da Center & Compute Services. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalion) problem identificion, diagnosis, and resolution of problems. Provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operions, monitoring & problem resolution for all the client/server/storage/network devices, etc. Configure and manage Linux, and possibly Windows opering systems, installs/loads opering system software and pches to maintain security compliance, troubleshoot, maintain integrity of and configure network components, along with implementing opering system enhancements to improve reliability & performance. Pching and upding Linux distributions regarding security findings. Adding / Removing users and setting permissions to meet certain user privileges. Working with STIGs and fixing/upding vulnerabilities with STE/STN findings. Renew Linux server certifices and applying updes to TLS security versions. Working with automion software such as ANSIBLE to streamline updes and pching. Minimum Qualificions: Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years of relevant System Administrion experience OR Associes degree with 15 years of relevant System Administrion experience Senior level Linux Systems Administrion experience is required Experience with VMWARE, vSphere, VCF (VMware Cloud Foundions) Server and Hardware maintenance Knowledge of pching & upding Linux distributions regarding security findings. Preferred Qualificions: 20 years of relevant System Administrion experience (no degree requirement) Experience with Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalion) problem identificion, diagnosis, and resolution of problems. Experience with monitoring tools like NAGIOS. Clearance Requirements: Must possess and maintain a current/active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph   Physical Requirements: Must be able to remain in a stionary position 50% of the time Occasionally moves about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. Frequently communice with co-workers, management, and customers, including delivering presentions.
