Modernize, secure, and sustain cloud-hosted and on-premises infrastructure Apply Now Description Leidos is seeking a Cloud Engineer to support the Nional Digital Exploition & OSINT Center (NDOC) IT Operions and Maintenance (O&M) program. This position will support mission-critical cloud, virtualizion, automion, and hybrid infrastructure initiives across classified enterprise environments. The Cloud Engineer will help modernize, secure, and sustain cloud-hosted and on-premises infrastructure supporting operional mission systems. This is a hands-on engineering role supporting enterprise cloud integrion, infrastructure automion, cybersecurity compliance, virtualizion, and operional sustainment. This is a 100% on-site position. All work must be performed the customer site in Bethesda the Intelligence Community Campus. Primary Responsibilities Design, deploy, manage, and sustain secure hybrid cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, VMware, and on-premises environments. Support virtualizion plforms including VMware ESXi, vCenter, Hyper-V, VDI, and cloud-nive virtualizion technologies. Engineer and maintain cloud networking solutions including VPCs, VNets, VPNs, routing, DNS, load balancers, firewalls, and network segmention. Deploy and maintain containerized environments utilizing Docker, Kubernetes, and reled technologies. Monitor system performance, cloud utilizion, scalability, and operional health. Troubleshoot cloud, network, virtualizion, storage, and infrastructure issues and perform root-cause analysis. Implement security best practices including IAM, RBAC, encryption, vulnerability remediion, and Zero Trust principles. Support RMF, ICD 503, NIST 800-53, STIG, and cybersecurity compliance requirements. Assist with migrion and modernizion of legacy systems into cloud and hybrid cloud environments. Develop and maintain technical documention, SOPs, architecture diagrams, and operional procedures. Collabore with Systems, Network, Storage, Security, Dabase, Citrix, and Da Center teams to support integred enterprise operions. Basic Qualificions Experience supporting AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Oracle Cloud, VMware, or hybrid cloud environments. Experience with virtualizion technologies including VMware ESXi, vCenter, Hyper-V, or OpenStack. Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or containerized plforms. Strong understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, routing, subnets, firewalls, and load balancing. Experience supporting Linux and Windows enterprise environments. Familiarity with DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, automion, and scripting using Python, Bash, or PowerShell. Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communicion, and documention skills. Candide must, a minimum, meet DoD 8140/8570.11- IAT Level II certificion requirements (currently Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, GSEC, or SSCP along with an approprie computing environment (CE) certificion) Educion Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Informion Technology, Systems Engineering, Cybersecurity, or reled technical discipline with 8 years of relevant experience, Master’s degree with 6 years. Educion equivalency of Associe’s with 10 years of reled experience or High School Diploma with 12 years of reled experience can be used in lieu of Bachelor’s degree. Security Clearance Due to the nure of the government contracts we support, US Citizenship is required. TS/SCI with Poly required for Position or TS/SCI and willingness to obtain a poly. Preferred Qualificions Experience supporting DoD, DIA, Intelligence Community, or classified cloud environments. Experience with AWS C2S, Azure Government, or hybrid classified cloud architectures. Experience with Zero Trust architecture and enterprise IAM solutions. Experience with Splunk, Elastic, SIEM/SOAR, or enterprise monitoring plforms.
