Summary: GovCIO is seeking a Systems Engineer - Level III / Senior Network Architect with subject matter expertise in Site-to-site and Remote Access VPN to evaluate, design, and test network architecture designs. Maintain technical architecture documentation and troubleshoot problems Apply Now Overview: GovCIO is currently hiring for a Systems Engineer - Level III / Senior Network Architect; SME in Site-to-site and Remote Access VPN for our NIH-CIT Proposal. This position will be loced in Rockville, MD and will be a hybrid role. Responsibilities: The SME role’s responsibilities include: Coordine with the Section Manager to evalue, design, and test architecture designs and services from the roadmap backlog Lead the transition of user accepted designs and services to the Operions and Security Teams Provide subject mter expertise in Site-to-Site VPN Provide subject mter expertise in Remote Access VPN   The Network Architecture Section responsibilities include: Stregically plan, architect, design, engineer, develop, test, implement, modernize, and enhance the functional capabilities, capacity, and performance of the NIH Network and TIC Services in alignment with NIH future ste architecture objectives Software and hardware installion, configurion, upgrades, and maintenance Team with the Security Section to achieve security architecture requirements Maintain technical architecture documention Troubleshooting and problem resolution Change management Support resources responsible for security implemention, monitoring, maintenance, and vulnerability remediion Stregic & Transformive planning for network architecture services Qualificions: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Informion Systems, Engineering or other reled discipline and have least one of the Cisco CCIE certificions, both the written and practical. Within each of the Cisco Certificions, the following specializions are needed and listed in order of importance: Routing and Switching, Service Provider, Da Center, and Wireless OR Experience required is 8‐plus years in Network Services and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Informion Systems, Engineering or other reled discipline Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance Posted Salary Range: USD $149,027.00 - USD $149,027.00 /Yr.Apply Now
