Join our team and help us maintain excellence in our operations! Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Production Operator to join our team. The Production Operator will be responsible for operating equipment, assembling products, monitoring production lines, and ensuring quality standards are met. The ideal candidate should have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Hours of Operation: Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays to support operational needs. Operational Hours 8-hour shift; 5 days p/wk. Requirements • Reliable, predictable attendance; Maintain safe work environment and follow safe work practices; Follow instruction and direction as provided by the company. • Attention to detail, monitoring of product for defects, and quality control. You will need to be able to stop the automated line if you see there is a discrepancy or safety concern in collaboration with quality control and production supervision. • Aware of work site surroundings; Frequent regular lifting of 50 pounds repeatedly during a long work period; Requires constant standing, walking, bending, twisting, squatting, reaching, going up stairs and ladders. • Adapt to company safety culture by listening and communicating potential safety concerns; Maintain proper housekeeping standards in work area and adopt 5S methodology. • Ability to work in varying temperatures, depending upon season; Must wear personal protective gear to include steel toed boots, respirator, eye and hearing protection. • Train entry level operators on all aspects of the production line and the ability to write Standard Operating Procedures. Attend all required and mandatory training classes. Basic Qualifications • 18 years or older. • Speak and understand English well enough to communicate effectively. • Must be able to legally work in the US and provide supporting documentation. • Mentally alert and physically able cross train and perform all positions and functions. • Must have steel toed footwear, we provide everything else. • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred. • Ability to operate machinery, hand tools, and production equipment. • Strong attention to detail and quality. • Ability to lift up to (20) twenty pounds and stand for long periods. • Willingness to work overtime or weekends as needed. Preferred Skills: • Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team. • Strong communication and organizational skills. • Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
