Leidos Defense is seeking a talented Informion System Security Officer (ISSO) to join a diverse team committed to the sustainment of critical Army systems. The Informion System Security Officer (ISSO) will be responsible for supporting our Task Force 2200 (TF2200) program. The ISSO will report to the TF2200 Operions Manager and provide cybersecurity support to the TF2200 program. Primary Responsibilities: Responsible for meeting both regulory and non-regulory compliance demands. Responsible for management and enforcement of informion security policies, conducting security and risk assessments using security frameworks (e.g., NIST, RMF, Common Criteria, etc.), mitiging risk via security controls, vulnerability management (scanning, assessment, reporting, and mitigion verificion). Responsible for the protection of informion and maintain security controls for TF2200 systems in order to reduce risk. Support IA continuous monitoring tasks (auditing, security pching, scanning) to ensure compliance with security policies and procedures. Participe in Engineering Change Process (ECP) to address changes to baseline of the system. Support system accredition inspections and activities as needed with relevant stakeholders. Respond to and perform IT troubleshooting of TF2200 systems as required. Assist with maintaining the security posture of TF2200 systems by performing regular cybersecurity updes to systems. Support the Risk Management Framework (RMF) authorizion process to include developing and maintaining artifacts for the IS Body of Evidence (BoE). Perform in-office IT tasks as required and assist team members with issues as they arise. Basic Qualificions: Candide must be a U.S. Citizen and hold an active TS/SCI security clearance. A relevant BS degree with 4+ years of applicable experience is required. Solid understanding of the Risk Management Framework (RMF). Candide must demonstre experience interpreting and applying government security regulions such as NIST SP 800.53 Rev 5, DCSA NISPOM to informion systems. DoDM 8570.01 IAT Level II/ DoD 8140 Cybersecurity Intermedie Certifice (Security+) is required. Candide must be highly organized and self-motived with excellent documention skills. Candide should be able to communice effectively with customers and team members all levels. Some travel may be required, up to 10%. Candide must be a resident of the Colorado Springs, CO area. Candide should have significant hands-on experience implementing security, hardware, software, and network components. Candide must have experience implementing Security. Candide should possess strong technical writing. Experience implementing Security Technical Implemention Guides (STIG) on various Opering Systems (Windows, Linux). Preferred Qualificions: Familiarity with various cybersecurity tools (SCC, ACAS, Evalue STIG, STIG Viewer, etc.) Experience with Army Space Control systems Experience with DoD customers and their requirements, primarily USASMDC If you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling.
