EDWARD GOLDMAN - an art critic, art advisor, journalist and former host of "ART TALK" on KCRW 89.9 FM, NPR radio station, seeks a PART TIME ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT (4-5 days a week, approx. 4 hrs. per day) at his home office in SANTA MONICA. This candidate must: - have a strong writing/editorial background, as they will eventually step into the role of editor for the newsletter “Art Matters. with Edward Goldman”. - have at least 1 year of administrative/secretarial work experience. Knowledge of the LA art scene and art history is a must. - have excellent correspondence, grammar, and editing skills with an eye for details. Must also be familiar with social media. Basic photo editing skills are also required. Office uses: MAC computer, FileMaker, Excel, Quicken, Squarespace, Mailchimp, and Microsoft software. Only interested in meeting candidates who can at least give a ONE YEAR COMMITMENT beginning immediately. Candidate preferably lives near the Westside. About the Role The Media Director will play a pivotal role in both strategic and operational leadership at Exverus Media. This individual will be responsible for developing holistic media strategies that drive results for clients while leading and mentoring a team of media planners and buyers. The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience in both digital and traditional media, a proven ability to generate actionable insights from data, and a passion for innovation and media planning.
