Contact physicians to obtain missing or necessary prescription information. Collect and verify pertinent patient information to ensure accurate processing. Assist the Pharmacist in maintaining procedures and documentation to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. Adhere strictly to HIPAA regulations to safeguard patient confidentiality. Respond to customer inquiries via phone, providing support with order placement, system navigation, and product location. Accurately count, label, and prepare prescriptions according to established protocols. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in accordance with regulatory standards.
