Position Summary: Press Operator The Press Operator role supports three key areas of production: Production Operation, Automated Assembly, and Packaging. This position is ideal for individuals who value precision, consistency, and hands-on technical work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities 1. Production Operation • Operate precision punch-press machines • Follow established press-safety procedures • Complete required production documentation • Change product reels and bins as needed • Perform visual inspections to ensure product quality 2. Automated Assembly • Load and unload automation fixtures and component pallets • Operate and interact with automated assembly equipment • Maintain accurate production records • Apply fundamental GDP (Good Documentation Practices) principles 3. Packaging • Follow established packaging protocols • Pack components in layered cell packaging formats • Replenish packing supplies from inventory • Inspect components for visual quality attributes • Maintain packaging-related production records Additional Responsibilities • Complete all required KST training. • Follow all press and workplace safety procedures. • Complete production documentation in accordance with Good Documentation Practices. • Work effectively both independently and as part of a team. • Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs). Schedule 1st Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm 2nd Shift*: Monday – Thursday, 3:00 pm – 1:30 am *Off-shift employees are eligible for a 10% shift differential on top of base wage* Wage and Benefits K S Tooling offers competitive compensation and excellent company benefits.
