Take ownership of work on-site EXCAVATOR OPERATOR (Experienced) – Puyallup Area <> Established family owned construction company based in the Puyallup area seeking experienced excavation operators for residential site work. We’re looking for operators who are confident, efficient, and capable of working independently on job sites. Responsibilities include: Cutting and prepping residential foundations Installing footing drains and downspout systems Sewer and water service hookups Foundation backfill and final grading Reading grades and working to spec without constant supervision Requirements: Proven experience in residential excavation (foundation to backfill) Ability to understand and execute grading plans Knowledge of proper drainage and utility installation Valid driver’s license Ability to travel between job sites as needed Understanding of job site safety (hard hat, high-visibility vest, etc.) Ability to properly operate and maintain equipment (check oil, fluids, daily inspections) Reliable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented What we’re looking for: We need someone who understands the full process of residential site work—from foundation prep to final backfill—and can take ownership of their work on-site.
