Summary: Seeking a skilled Clamp Driver with excellent interpersonal skills to operate specialized equipment, manage logistics, and ensure safety in a warehouse setting. Highlights: 1. Perform daily safety checks and maintain a clean work environment We are looking for Clamp Driver skilled candidates with excellent interpersonal skills for this position. Location: Wayne, NJ Schedule: 9 am-6pm Compensation: $17 per hour A clamp driver (or clamp truck operator) is a specialized forklift operator who uses hydraulic clamping attachments instead of forks to safely lift, move, and stack large, fragile, or irregularly shaped items like paper rolls, appliances, or bales Key Responsibilities • Operate Specialized Equipment: Utilize roll clamps, carton clamps, or pressure clamps to handle, transport, and stack large materials. • Load/Unload Freight: Efficiently load and unload products from trucks or trailers. • Safety & Inspection: Perform daily, pre-shift safety checks on the forklift (e.g., checking fluid levels, hydraulic arms) to ensure proper functioning. • Inventory & Logistics: Use Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or RF scanners to locate, scan, and track materials. • Damage Prevention: Adjust clamp pressure based on the weight and fragility of the product to avoid damaging goods. • Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Required Skills & Qualifications • Certification: Valid forklift certification/Clamp certification • Experience: Prior experience in a warehouse setting or operating industrial machinery. • Physical Ability: Ability to perform physical labor, including working off the lift when necessary. • Technical Skills: Familiarity with RF scanners, pallet jacks, and basic mechanical maintenance. • Precision: Strong maneuvering skills to operate in tight spaces Requirements: • *MUST HAVE CLAMP DRIVER EXPERIENCE* • Excellent interpersonal skills. • Bilingual • US work permit • Own Transportation Benefits: - Health care coverage provided through MagnaCare. -Sick days - Vacation pay - 401(k) plan with a 1% match. **Please send your resume for consideration.**
