Our Mission, Vision, and Values guide the way we do business.  If this sounds like an environment where you can thrive, keep reading!  The Mission Leidos is seeking a Systems Engineer who will work with our customer’s, project managers, internal task or functional staff, and support personnel to execute the AFNCR ITS Program Mission within Digital Modernizion and the Defense and Intel business area. The successful candide will be able to work in a fast-paced environment th requires team interaction and coordinion of efforts. Primary Tasks: Work alongside system administrors responsible for the Informion Systems (IS) within the Nional Military Command Center (NMCC). Provide solutions based on system requirements and work with multiple teams to develop solutions to technical issues th arise. Draft/review Engineering Installion Plans for IT requirements supporting the NMCC. Work directly with third party vendors to discuss IT solutions/integrion with mission critical systems within the NMCC. Establish baseline hardware/software configurion for IT networks within the NMCC. Assist with System Administrors implemention, security, privileges, and regular maintenance tasks. Develop and produce documentions, SOPs, reports, and presention slide decks. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:   Requires BS degree and 8 – 12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6 – 10 years of prior relevant experience. May possess a Doctore in technical domain. Basic Qualificions Must be a US Citizen DoD 8750.01 IAT Level II Certificions: a minimum, one of the following: Security+ CE (Preferred), CCNA-Security, CySA+ **, GICSP, GSEC, CND, SSCP. BS Degree in Informion Technology (or 4 years work experience can be in lieu of degree). Experience with virtualizion technologies (Hyper-V, VMware). Experience with Secure Technical Implemention Guidance hardening practices. Experience with Windows Server 2022/2019. Experience with Linux opering systems (Red H and CentOS). Ability to work effectively in a team environment with other highly skilled and diverse individuals. Current and active TS SCI clearance required. Preferred Qualificions Extensive experience with building out and managing VMware environments.
