Registered Nurse / Per Diem - Whitfield, MS (#R10027) Must have an unrestricted Mississippi Nursing License. Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Mississippi State Hospital to join its Inpatient Psychiatric Services team. The ideal candidates will be committed to providing high-quality patient care on weekends and during state-mandated holidays. Schedule of the Registered Nurse: Work two or more weekends per month. Each weekend consists of Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Work a minimum of 24 hours and a maximum of up to 40 hours per weekend. Work a minimum of 6 state-mandated holidays, including Christmas or Thanksgiving, as determined by hospital needs. Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse: Provide nursing care to patients in the inpatient psychiatric services unit. Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the appropriate healthcare professionals. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records. Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance professional skills and knowledge.
