As specified by procedure and the site security plan, maintain a secure perimeter for site access and egress and employee, contractor and visitor entry. Perform search, prol, and inspections in accordance with the Stion Security Plan, procedures, and post orders. Primary Duties and Accountabilities Maintain qualificions for position Conduct prols and inspections Monitor access to security areas Perform search activities Respond to thres and contingency events Perform equipment testing Acts as a member of an Armed Response Force to provide physical protection of Constellion nuclear clean energy centers and evalue adversarial actions to prevent intrusion and acts of sabotage. Conduct armed stionary, foot and/or vehicle prol (interior and/or exterior). Control access and/or egress of personnel, merials and vehicles. Monitor Closed Circuit Television (CCTV), plant surveillance equipment and alarm systems. Deter criminal activity, misconduct, and safety violions. Maintains and implements extensive NRC requirements and Federal/Ste Laws for site protection and protected area access control. Participe in initial and annual formal training program to complete class and field qualificions necessary to be an armed Nuclear Security Officer Responsible for accure documention and record keeping, as required by federal and corpore guidelines. Maintains thorough knowledge of plant and plant systems to adequely initie and maintain sites defensive stregy. All other job assignments and/or duties pursuant to company policy or as directed by management to include but not limited to: (Emergency Response duties and/or coverage, Department duty coverage and/or call out, and positions outside of department in support of outage activities etc.) Minimum Qualificions Must be least 21 years of age Must have a High School diploma or GED Must be able to obtain and maintain nuclear unescorted access Must meet minimum ste requirements to carry a firearm Must have and maintain a valid driver's license Must have and maintain a REAL ID and/or an ID th is REAL ID compliant in accordance with the REAL ID ACT Must pass any Ste and Federal required training or other qualificions for licensing Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test with negive results. Constellion follows federal NRC legal requirements for marijuana and medical marijuana, regardless of whether it is legalized in the ste of applicion. A positive test, including for THC or marijuana, will impact the ability to obtain unescorted access to the nuclear power plant which is a required condition of employment Must be able to pass extensive background check, including criminal history, personal references, employment and educional verificions, and credit check Must be able to opere a radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors and surveillance equipment Must be able to successfully complete all training required for the position, including but not limited to a physical fitness test, firearms qualificion, and nuclear site-specific training and testing providing general knowledge of nuclear power generion science and principles Must be able to successfully pass the following in accordance with code of federal regulions and site training and qualificion plan for armed nuclear security assignment: Psychological assessment, as approprie, and physical exams, including vision and hearing Demonstre an ability to interact cordially and communice with the public Ability to transit to work locion and/or posts (Walk, Climb Stairs, Climb Ladder, Conduct Routine Rounds, etc.) Ability to access and egress Bullet Resistant Enclosure (BRE) Towers Ability to manually carry, lift, or handle gear <= 25 lbs. (i.e., rifle, BRE access hch, etc.) Body positioning (Stand, Sit, Kneel, Bend, Squ, Reach Over Shoulder Height) Must be able to work 12-hour shifts, including nights, weekends, and forced overtime Must meet and comply with all other requirements under NRC, 10 CFR Part 26 & Appendix B to Part 73General Criteria for Security Personnel Preferred Qualificions Prior military experience Prior law enforcement experience or Criminal Justice degree Prior commercial security/loss prevention experience Apply Now
