Work in a dynamic startup-style environment Position Title: Operations Supervisor Wage: $45,000 - $60,000/year Shift: 1st Hours: 8:00am - 4:00pm Our client is launching its U.S. manufacturing and distribution operation in Houston, TX and is seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee day-to-day execution. This role will be responsible for keeping production, inventory, assembly, and shipping running smoothly while the CEO focuses on business development and frequently travels between the U.S. and Israel. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable taking ownership of daily operations in a production and fulfillment environment. The ideal candidate can supervise a small team, manage inventory and orders, and maintain operational consistency with minimal oversight. Operations Supervisor Responsibilities: - Oversee daily manufacturing, assembly and fulfillment activities - Ensure production schedules and shipping deadlines are met - Keep operations moving efficiently during periods when the CEO is traveling - Identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies and propose practical improvements - Manage raw materials, components and finished goods inventory - Track inbound and outbound shipments and maintain accurate inventory records - Coordinate order fulfillment to ensure timely and accurate shipping to customers - Supervise and support assembly and production workers - Provide direction, task prioritization, and hands-on oversight as needed - Maintain a productive, organized, and accountable work environment - Ensure products are assembled and packaged according to company standards - Maintain clean, organized and safe production and storage areas - Follow all applicable policies related to firearms accessory manufacturing and distribution Requirements for Operations Supervisor: - Previous experience in a manufacturing, assembly, warehouse or distribution environment - Previous supervisor or manager experience leading hourly or production staff - Strong organizational and time-management skills - Comfortable working in a startup-style environment with evolving processes - Ability to work independently and make sound operational decisions - Clear communicator who is open to feedback and continuous improvement - Experience supporting firearms, tactical gear, or regulated product industries preferred - Familiarity with inventory management systems or ERP tools preferred - Experience helping launch or stabilize a new facility or operation preferred houston@qpsemployment.com IND153 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
