Now Hiring – Security Officer We are seeking a dependable, professional, and customer-focused Security Officer to join our condominium community team. The successful candidate will help maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for residents, guests, staff, and vendors. Position Responsibilities • Patrol the property and monitor common areas, entrances, and parking facilities. • Control access to the building and verify visitor, vendor, and contractor authorization. • Respond promptly to emergencies, alarms, disturbances, and resident concerns. • Monitor surveillance cameras and security systems. • Prepare accurate incident, activity, and shift reports. • Enforce condominium policies and safety procedures. • Assist residents and guests with security-related inquiries. • Coordinate with emergency responders, management, and law enforcement when necessary. • Conduct routine inspections to identify safety or security concerns. Qualifications • Previous security, law enforcement, military, hotel, residential, or customer service experience preferred. • Excellent observation, communication, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to remain calm and professional in emergency situations. • Strong customer service orientation and interpersonal skills. • Basic computer proficiency and report-writing ability. • Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts as needed. • Valid security guard license • High school diploma or equivalent. Physical Requirements • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. • Ability to climb stairs and patrol multiple areas of the property. • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds occasionally.
