Sr. Production Engineer (Mechanical) POSITION DESCRIPTION: Major and established international company has an opportunity for a Sr. Production Engineer at their large and high volume manufacturing site commutable to the east of the Atlanta metropolitan area. Will recommends and implement improvements to existing production processes, methods, and controls. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Finds problems, plans, and implements improvements for existing product and manufacturing process issues. Performs research, development, evaluation, installation, operation and maintenance of manufacturing systems, processes, and equipment to meet requirements. Coordinates the manufacturing launch of new/revised products including establishing goals, training team members, and evaluating results. Performs cost-benefit analysis for product and/or manufacturing process cost reduction, quality improvement, and improved efficiency. Leads or participates in Kaizen activities to ensure continuous improvement in manufacturing processes, products, components, raw materials, and equipment. Prepares and maintains detailed layouts of building floor space, equipment, and tooling. Performs routine activities accurately and promptly per instructions and procedures. Train Production and Maintenance Associates to improve technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills on the production shop floor. Performs other work as assigned by Management. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field with at least 5 years of engineering experience. Experience in automotive manufacturing industry is preferred. Must be able to read, interpret, and create blueprints and technical documents. Must be proficient with 3D CAD software, preferably SolidWorks, and 2D CAD software, preferably AutoCAD. Must have at least 3 years of hands on experience with high volume CNC Machining, automated assembly, and/or plastic injection molding processes. Excellent troubleshooting skills. Exhibits ingenuity/creativity regarding problem solving and countermeasure implementation. Experience calculating and analyzing OEE, scrap, and manufacturing capacity. Experience with capital equipment projects and new product launches while meeting APQP and ISO 9001 and/or TS 16949 standards. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. About the Role Are you a seasoned project leader ready to guide complex civil engineering projects from concept through completion? Galloway & Company Inc. is seeking a Civil Project Manager to play a pivotal role in our growing team. This is a client-facing position that blends hands-on project management, cross-discipline coordination, and relationship building, all within a highly collaborative environment. As a Civil Project Engineer, you’ll play a key role in preparing site designs and engineering documents, supporting project permitting, and working closely with internal teams and external clients. You'll apply your understanding of civil engineering principles to tasks ranging from site layout and grading to erosion control and utility system design. With an emphasis on precision and performance, you'll help manage concurrent projects, maintain schedules, and assist in technical calculations and reporting. This role offers a unique opportunity to be involved in diverse project types, including subdivisions, commercial and multifamily developments, and public works initiatives. You’ll also contribute to business development by nurturing client relationships and ensuring the high quality of your work speaks for itself. Your Key Responsibilities Will Include: Applying civil engineering principles to site layout, grading, stormwater, water and sewer, erosion control, and roadway/fueling design. Assisting in technical writing for civil reports, letters, and permit documents. Drafting construction documents using AutoCAD and Civil 3D software. Preparing improvement plans, specifications, and permit applications. Performing and reviewing calculations for drainage systems, water/wastewater, transportation, and site earthwork quantities. Recognizing discrepancies in data and resolving them through detailed, step-by-step processes. Managing multiple projects with awareness of schedule, budget, and client expectations. Playing an active role in business development and client engagement. Requirements Qualifications: Education: Bachelor of Engineering from a board-approved, four-year engineering curriculum. Experience: Minimum of 4 years of civil engineering experience required. At least 2 years of land development experience is highly preferred. Possession of a PE license or eligibility to take the PE exam within six months of hire. In the Burford, Georgia. We are looking for candidates with various experience levels who will be ready to make an immediate positive impact on their local communities. Entry-level position where employees gain basic knowledge of the health and safety requirements, terminology, processes, and equipment used in the operation, maintenance, and monitoring (OM&M) of various environmental control systems. The tasks assigned are typically less complex and more routine than those of Field Technician II. What we are looking for: Learns and becomes proficient in understanding and complying with policies and procedures, with a primary focus on: Injury and Illness Prevention Plan (IIPP) as it pertains to there Health & Safety program; Quality Management System as it pertains to the quality of our work; and, Standards of Business Conduct and Ethics as they pertain to our behavior as employee owners. Focus is on gaining the fundamentals to understand the operation, monitoring, and maintenance of various environmental systems. We are looking for a Field Technician to service around different locations. You will operate, monitor and maintain gas migration control/recovery systems including gas well monitoring and adjustment, troubleshooting, and system repairs.
