Pay Rate: $41.50 per class Druid Hills Golf Club, one of the most prestigious clubs in Atlanta, is seeking an enthusiastic Fitness Instructor to join our team The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a working environment characterized by teamwork and a commitment to service, learn from some of the best leaders in the private club industry, and provide high levels of service and a warm and welcoming atmosphere to our members. Responsibilities Develop and lead Group fitness classes in a safe, effective and motivating manner. Create and implement engaging workouts that incorporate both strength and cardiovascular exercises. Educate and inspire members to achieve their fitness goals. Provide high levels of customer service, including greeting members by name, answering questions, and offering modifications when needed. Maintain a clean and organized fitness studio. Follow safety and emergency procedures. Attend and participate in training and meetings as required. Requirements Nationally recognized certification in group fitness instruction. A minimum of one year of experience teaching group fitness classes. CPR/AED certified. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to create a positive and welcoming environment for all members. Ability to motivate and inspire members to achieve their fitness goals. As a Personal Trainer, you will have the opportunity to work with our members in our state-of-the-art fitness center and help them achieve their fitness goals. Personal Trainers provide safe & effective customizable fitness programming instruction to our members. They act as a resource here in the department to the membership to aide in providing additional customer service to our members. Must be available to work evenings & weekends. Responsibilities Conduct daily Pilates classes for members based on their individual needs and abilities. Provide safe and effective exercise programs to promote physical fitness, strength and flexibility. Create a welcoming and inclusive environment for members of all ages and abilities. Educate and inspire members to achieve their health and wellness goals through Pilates. Keep detailed records of member attendance and progress. Communicate regularly with Fitness Director to ensure program meets members' needs. Comply with all Druid Hills Golf Club policies and procedures. Requirements Must hold a current Pilates certification from a reputable organization. Must have a minimum of 2 years experience teaching Pilates. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and provide excellent customer service. Must be comfortable working with members of all ages and abilities. Must be available to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Must have reliable transportation to and from the club.
