Job Description As a Security Officer Armed Vehicle Prol Driver in Leesburg, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Officer a government locion, you will help monitor and prol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-reled incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communicion. This is an armed and driving post where you will respond to concerns, support personnel and visitors, and represent Allied Universal through agility, reliability, innovion, teamwork, and integrity. Position Type: Full Time Pay Re: $25.00/ Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon02:00 PM - 10:00 PMTue02:00 PM - 10:00 PMWed02:00 PM - 10:00 PMThur02:00 PM - 10:00 PMFri10:00 AM - 06:00 PM Wh You'll Do: Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out security-reled procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities a government locion. Monitor entry points and conduct access control and screening activities for people, packages, and prohibited items in accordance with site procedures and applicable regulions. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situions in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observions and communicing with supervisors, law enforcement, and/or site personnel as needed. Conduct regular and random armed prols throughout buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locions to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Support security-reled operions by preparing reports, maintaining awareness of post orders, and assisting with evacuions, crowd management, and/or other response protocols when approprie. Minimum Requirements: Possess least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience. A valid driver's license is required in the ste where the job is loced. Possess an armed guard card or license. Be least 21 years of age. Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and bon is preferred. Be least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigion in accordance with all federal, ste, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applicions with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participe in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to ste and/or local laws and regulions and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
