Position Type: Part Time Pay Re: $25.00/ Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon10:00 AM - 08:00 PMFri02:00 PM - 06:00 PM Wh You'll Do: Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or members of the public by carrying out security-reled procedures, locion-specific policies, and when approprie, emergency response activities in a government locion. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situions in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observions and communicing with site contacts and/or public agencies as needed. Conduct regular and random prols throughout buildings, entrances, screening areas, parking areas, and perimeter locions, with working environments and conditions varying by assignment. Monitor access points and screening operions, verify identificion and authorizion as required, and help to deter unauthorized entry and/or prohibited items from entering restricted areas. Carry and maintain assigned armed post equipment in accordance with site rules, company policy, and applicable laws, while remaining prepared to respond to security-reled concerns. Minimum Requirements: Possess least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience. A valid driver's license is required in the ste where the job is loced. Possess an armed guard card and/or license. Be least 21 years of age. Customer service experience is preferred. Be least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigion in accordance with all federal, ste, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applicions with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participe in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to ste and/or local laws and regulions and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
