As a Security Officer Armed Driver Enhanced Part Time in Leesburg, VA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you. Pay Re: $24.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeTue11:15 AM - 09:15 PMThur11:15 AM - 09:15 PMHow This Role Works: Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designed site and weekly shift th serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment. Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling plform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you. This role is ideal for candides seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed. Responsibilities: Provide customer service by carrying out security-reled procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities a government locion. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situions in a calm, problem-solving manner, escaling concerns through approprie channels when needed. Conduct regular and random prols throughout assigned buildings, public areas, and perimeter locions to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior. Monitor access points and screening areas, verify authorizion for entry, and report prohibited items, suspicious activity, and/or policy violions according to site procedures. Maintain a visible armed presence while documenting daily activities, observions, and incidents, and support coordinion with site personnel and/or public officials during routine operions and emergencies. Minimum Requirements: Have least 2 years of security-reled experience. A valid driver's license is required in the ste where the job is loced. Possess an armed guard card and/or license. Be least 21 years of age. A DCJS license is required for positions in Virginia only. Be least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigion in accordance with all federal, ste, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applicions with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participe in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to ste and/or local laws and regulions and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
