AWS is growing rapidly, and we are looking for a Security Services Specialist to join our expanding Infrastructure Operions team. As a Security Services Specialist you will be tasked with driving operional security excellence within Da Centers while working with partner teams and leaders. The ideal candide will manage communicions and provide services as required. You will make suggestions on improving electronic surveillance and access controls. You will write and implement security process and procedures. Your position will require you to extract metrics and observe improvements by looking hard da. The successful candide must have a proven track record of customer service, possess excellent verbal and written communicion skills, and demonstre good judgment and critical thinking. An ideal candide for this role will be able to work all levels, from the theoretical knowledge of physical security principles to the practical applicion and real-world implemention of processes and measures. You must have a proven record of accomplishment in operions room/center dispching, da center security operions, physical security, customer service; and the ability to multi-task. Key job responsibilities -You will manage a ch queue, phone communicions, genere and/or manage trouble tickets, handle incoming chs, and provide support to customers. -Drive security awareness campaigns aimed enhancing security vigilance and effectiveness -Experience with workflow ticketing and extraction/development of performance metrics -Configure physical security devices including cameras, readers, and panels. -Support daily operional security across a da center campus -Distill overarching security stregy into daily tactics to reach management goals About the team AWS Infrastructure Services (AIS) owns the design, planning, delivery, and operion of all AWS global infrastructure. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - Experience with physical security best practices which includes the applicion of physical security systems, investigion techniques and management of contract security guards - 1+ years' experience in an operions center, control room environment, or technical support experience. - 2+ years' experience with intrusion detection (alarm systems) and with video monitoring systems (CCTV). Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compension will be determined based on factors including experience, qualificions, and locion.
