The SME conducts classification review and analysis of government material in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, DOE orders, and DOE Office of Classification procedures for Restricted Data (RD), Formerly Restricted Data (FRD), and National Security Information (NSI) technical areas such as: Nuclear weapon design, development, testing, production, and deployment Weapon science Inertial confinement fusion (ICF) Ballistic missile and/or reentry body/vehicle design, development, testing, production, and deployment Special nuclear material (SNM) production technologies such as, but not limited to, isotope separation technologies (atomic vapor laser isotope separation, gaseous diffusion, gas centrifuge, etc.) and nuclear material processing Counterintelligence and nuclear intelligence Military utilization of nuclear weapons and nuclear weapon effects Nuclear nonproliferation (technology and/or safeguards programs) Radiological weapons and improvised nuclear devices Space nuclear reactors and naval nuclear propulsion Salary Range: Compensation for this position will range from $165,000 to $180,000 per year, depending on qualifications. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of hands-on experience diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of commercial HVAC systems, including boilers, chillers, cooling towers, rooftop units, and split systems. Experience with Distech Controls is a plus. Candidates should also possess a valid journeyman license (master license preferred) and demonstrate a high level of professionalism and technical expertise in the field. Key Responsibilities Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a wide range of commercial HVAC systems, including boilers, chillers, rooftop units, cooling towers, split systems, and more. Troubleshoot and resolve system malfunctions efficiently and accurately. Conduct routine inspections to ensure optimal system performance, energy efficiency, and compliance with safety and code standards. Document all work performed, including time, materials used, and system conditions, with clear and accurate service reports. Communicate professionally with commercial clients and internal office staff regarding service needs, findings, and recommendations. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area, tools, and service vehicle. Adhere to all company policies and industry-standard safety protocols. Participate in the on-call rotation and respond promptly to after-hours service calls. Attend company-provided training sessions to remain up-to-date on the latest HVAC technologies and practices. Perform other related duties as assigned by management to support team and operational goals. This position is responsible for assisting in the operation of the department.
